You have to experience it to believe it.
If you're not much of a football fan (there are those out there, they're just afraid to say it) then here's a look at what else you can do while "the game" is on.
My caveat: be sure to call ahead to make sure your destination is open if you head out during an OSU football game. Incredible but true.
So here's some fun you can have besides "the" OSU football game:
Shopping
- Easton Town Center is located at I-270 and Morse Rd. It is a unique shopping experience with outdoor and indoor shopping, entertainment, hotels and more.
- The Polaris Fashion Center is Ohio's largest mall, located at I-71 and Polaris Parkway (Ohio Route 750) on the far north side of Columbus.
- Bargain Shopping in Central Ohio features lots of great places around town where you can save money (and not run into any pesky shoppers during "the game").
- OSU's Gateway South Project is transforming High St. along the OSU campus into a student-oriented shopping mecca with entertainment and more.
Movies
- If you want to drop the guys off at Ohio Stadium and catch a movie, the Lennox Town Center on the western edge of campus at Ohio Route 315 and Olentangy River Rd. features 24 screens, shopping, restaurants and more.
- The Arena District and "Short North" along High St. just south of the OSU campus features art galleries, restaurants, and the Drexel Theater with first run and second run movies.
Spas
Spend a relaxing afternoon at one of Central Ohio's spas.
