In fact, so modern that one might not be sure what kind of food is served judging just by the decor. Modern Chinese/American food--but loud--is the way I would describe it.
A look at their menu shows a unique blend of East and West in all their food items. This is more than just Americanized Chinese, these are unique appetizers, entrees and more that combine Chinese foundations and American tastes for great eating.
My wife and I have visited both locations and found the food, service, and atmosphere to be excellent (albeit a bit loud, as I mentioned before. Or am I just a bit old?) And the prices weren't cheap but they were what you would expect in a more upscale restaurant.
So for some interesting East meets West food P.F. Chang's "China bistro" is a great place to eat.
