Local legend has it that when Samuel Clemens (AKA Mark Twain) stopped for a few hours at the Old Worthington Inn, he was not impressed. Well, he would be now. Today, the restored stagecoach stop looks like the private mansion it used to be. But it's very much a public place now, with an award-winning menu and wine list, condos in the back half and very smooth jazz.
