The Mall at Tuttle Crossing Kids Play Area - Space Themed

About.com Rating 4 Star Rating

Get ready for blast off! Kids 42 inches and under are welcome at this soft play area. Many residents will remember the area used to have a breakfast food theme. Older kids have fond memories of sliding down bacon, bouncing on eggs and the whole area smelling like syrup.

Kid Focused Fun

Now the area has a space theme which is exciting for little astronauts and climbers alike. There is plenty of space to run around and instead of hopping on eggs sunny-side up, kids can planet hop, climb in and out of a U.S. spaceship or slide down the tail of a comet. Like most indoor play areas, this section can get pretty crowded on weekends and during rainy days.

Keep an eye out for the entrances they are simply open spaces. Kids seem to make their way toward them eventually and often take a buddy or two.

Parent Amenities

There is ample seating for parents and any seat offers a great view of the whole area which makes it easier to keep an eye on little ones.

Other parent amenities include free wi-fi, nearby restrooms (including a family restroom), coffee and chocolate shops nearby. The downside is there is also a candy and build a teddy bear shop in the same area.

Clean Up Time!

Take care to plan your trip time carefully as the area is closed from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily for cleaning. The play area's regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
