Music on the Lawn
Picnics and blankets are the way to enjoy these fun community evenings.

Actors' Theatre: The Three Musketeers
A beautiful villain, dashing swordplay, period costumes and mustaches made to be twirled -- This adaptation of Dumas' famous novel is great fun as outdoor drama. Bring bug spray and something to sit on.

Echoes in Time Theatre: "For the Ohio Country”
How could Ohio’s first settlers leave behind almost everything and everyone familiar to build a new home, a new state? This one-woman shows you why some people did, and what they went through.

Cocktails at the Conservatory
Music, cocktails, and a cool LED installation glowing gently in the Palm Room makes this a great place to chat with old friends and make some new ones.

Summer Lunchtime Performing Arts Series
Bring your lunch and enjoy.

Short North Gallery Hop
Join thousands of people for this monthly street party of art, shopping, food, music, and dancing (in the streets). The Hop has justly been dubbed the “best event in the state” by Ohio Magazine.
When: June 6
Where: Short North (both side of High between downtown and the OSU campus)

Concerts on the Creek
Pack your picnics and lawn chairs, and head for this lovely park in historic Olde Gahanna.

A Chorus Line (Broadway Across America)
This drama of dreams won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Note: Not appropriate for children under the age of 13.

Columbus Crew Soccer Tour
Soccer fans will enjoy the games, radar-timed kicking and skill-sharpening.

Robin Trower

National Quilting Association 40th Annual Quilt Show
400 + contemporary, traditional and “art” quilts; classes; lectures and a really packed vendor area.

Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys (Broadway Across America)
Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer returns to the stage with all her buddies. Very child-friendly theater

Zoofari!
As always, this annual fundraiser for the Columbus Zoo has food and drink from Columbus’ finest bars and restaurants, and music to move to!

Cost: $95-$200 per person

Thurber House Literary Picnic with Julia Keller
Keller is no stranger to Columbus. A former Columbus Dispatch reporter, and current culture critic for the Chicago Tribune, she won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for feature writing. She’ll be reading from her book, Mr. Gatling’s Terrible Marvel, the story of the Gatling Gun.
When: June 24

Origins International Game Expo
There’s “Play with the (Game) Creator,” “Origins War College,” “Board Room and War Room,” “Teacher’s Hall Pass,” 200 vendors and lots of people to play against!

Powell Festival

German Village Haus und Garten Tour
People wait all year for this tour of German Village’s historic homes and delightfully designed postage stamp-sized gardens. This 50th annual tour takes you through 12 sites, some with gardening demos.

Columbus Crew
Enjoy professional soccer at its best, and cheer yourself hoarse for the home team against the New York Red Bulls.
