Salsa, meringue, calypso, bembe, cha cha, samba, bossa nova -- Just the words sound like thrilling, get-up-and-dance music.

There will be plenty of music to move to at the 14th annual Festival Latino August 15-16 at Genoa Park on downtown Columbus’ riverfront. Local, national, and international Latin-American music acts include the Spanish Harlem Orchestra and Tiempo Libre. In addition to the music, there will be Latin-American food and merchandise, a free children’s craft area, and dance demonstrations and instruction. Admission is free.

Note: No pets, coolers, skateboards or chairs are permitted at the Festival.
