Your guide loves to travel Ohio! Here are Web sites for popular one-tank trip destinations to the north and east of Columbus along with personal experience.

North:
Cleveland is a fun place to visit, and in your guide's opinion it doesn't deserve the "mistake on the lake" label.
Before you visit, check out the About Cleveland site for news and happenings throughout the north coast.
Here are some of your guide's favorite places to visit in the Cleveland area:
- Lake Erie Islands
News and events happening in the Lake Erie Islands, located between Cleveland and Port Clinton.Cedar Point Amusement Park Page
Cedar Point is America's oldest amusement park and is located in Sandusky, Ohio.Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
This is a great place to visit if you love rock and roll--with five floors and numerous exhibits, it's worth the admission price.Six Flags Ohio
Formerly known as Geauga Lake, Six Flags Ohio now features thrill rides, shows, and other amenities from the Six Flags theme.
Another one of my favorite areas to visit is the Mohican State Park region, just east of Mansfield. The Mohican region includes Clearfork Gorge and Mohican River. Check area map for details.
A trip to the Mohican region can easily be combined with a visit to Amish Country,
primarily Holmes County. Here are some great links from America's largest Amish
community:
