When people think of the Ohio State Fair, they don't necessarily think of romance, but if you pay attention the fair is a great place to take a date! It's not enough to win a giant bear from the Midway, take time to check out:
1. The Butterfly Garden
Did you know there is a Natural Resource Park at the fair with a walk-through aviary, butterfly garden, fishing pond and more? This area is often much quieter than the main fair drag.
2. Petting Zoo
Who doesn't love little animals? Cuddly lambs and other cool animals from around the world are just begging to be fed and loved on - 4 hands are better than one.
3. SkyGlider
Get cozy as you glide over all the the sights and sounds of the fair. It's a long way down so you better hold on tight.
4. Fair Food
No one really needs to eat a whole fried Snickers, cut the guilt and share the fun by noshing on cotton candy or fried Kool-Aid together.
5. Fireworks
The fair at night is really a fun time. The flashing lights, smaller crowds and daily fireworks are a great way to cap off a fun day.
