It was a mellow crowd on the Statehouse steps for the Friday nooner concert. Erik Augis & Lisa Clark gave a good preview of what we can expect next week at the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival in Olde Gahanna.Budgets have been slashed all over, but there are still plenty of tunes to soothe our spirits. Free or low-cost concerts and festivals are bringing in nationally-known musicians. The coolest part? The way individuals and local businesses kicked in to make sure we had music this summer.
