Farmers' Markets Open -- Summer Is Here

Forget what the calendar says. When the seasonal farmers' markets spring up all over Columbus, summer is here.

You can have a lot of fun shopping at farmers' markets. And, according to the latest report from the Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), we all benefit economically when we support the markets.

Of course, right now you're not going to find many juicy, ripe tomatoes. But you will find tomato plants, baked goods, free-range chicken, flowers, honey, homemade soaps and some very tasty brats.
